When it comes to servicing Webasto Heating units, it is a service unlike a conventional service. The units were designed to not need maintenance when used for their intended purpose as a supplementary engine heater, running on white diesel which is always fresh. We now see them fitted to boats running red diesel with Marine 16 which means that they do need servicing in this environment to prevent costly breakdowns.

Note: every boat/vehicle intake and exhaust are slightly different so a true accurate CO2 reading needs to be carried out at the point of operation rather than on the test bench. This enables efficient combustion and longevity of the heating unit.

Our service comprises of; Webasto customer report, Disassembly of the unit, clean the component parts, visual inspection, if all parts are good, reassemble with new seals and gaskets, function test, fuel supply test, finished with a CO2 adjustment.

During a service if any components require replacing this will be discussed with you prior to any reassembly.
