We are a start up company using our decades of experience across marine, aviation, renewable, rail and heavy plant industries to provide canal side mechanical and electrical services to keep you cruising.

Our founder became a full time narrowboat liveaboard in Dec 24 and after a few long cruises saw how they could help out so many people on the network with the skills and knowledge they retain. Hence ShadTech was created.

We have met a lot of people all in different circumstances on the canal, and met a lovely person that had pulled their narrowboat for 7 days to get to a marina for expensive repairs.

This was our inception moment of offering our services at a fair and right price for the individual that needs work doing, and can take into consideration individuals needs. As boats are meant for cruising not pulling.
